📋 Description

• Take complete P&L accountability for the North America studio fleet, encompassing revenue, payroll, expense oversight, and profitability.

• Foster growth in compensation, productivity, and contributions through effective performance management and robust operational practices.

• Develop and lead the operational strategy for all studios, transforming the company vision into actionable programs throughout the North American locations.

• Enhance top-line revenue and bottom-line profitability across all markets, focusing on membership growth, client retention, package and retail sales, and the performance of new studios.

• Set clear performance expectations, KPIs, and accountability frameworks across the field organization.

• Identify risks and opportunities across regions, proactively adapting strategies to achieve financial objectives.

• Mentor, coach, and develop Senior Directors who oversee Directors and Area Managers in all regions.

• Establish a high-performing, engaged, and accountable field leadership structure to support rapid scaling.

• Expand leadership systems, communication practices, and operational routines to accommodate a larger, more diverse team.

• Ensure uniformity in execution, communication, and decision-making across all markets.

• Collaborate with field leaders to design and implement turnaround plans for underperforming markets or studios as necessary.

• Promote operational excellence throughout the fleet, guaranteeing that every studio provides a consistent, world-class [solidcore] experience.

• Continuously improve operational standards and eliminate barriers for studio teams by enhancing tools, communication, and workflows.

• Analyze studio performance metrics—including client retention, team effectiveness, revenue, and client satisfaction—and guide the organization to act decisively based on insights.

• Maintain an unwavering focus on customer experience, service excellence, and brand integrity.

• Lead the strategy for new studio launches, collaborating with Real Estate, Development, Construction, and Marketing to ensure that openings meet the highest standards and studios ramp up swiftly.

• Assess studio performance, market conditions, and organizational requirements to guide future growth strategies.

• Drive long-term growth plans focused on sales enhancement, transaction increases, and value creation.

• Ensure the field organization is effectively structured and resourced to support an expanding fleet.

• Work closely with Marketing, Analytics, Finance, People & Culture, Real Estate, and Digital to align studio strategies with company goals.

• Act as a prominent advocate for the studios, incorporating field insights into enterprise-level decisions and leadership discussions.

• Represent studio operations in executive leadership meetings, board updates, and investor discussions as required.

• Supervise the implementation of major company-wide initiatives, ensuring that field teams execute consistently and effectively.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of progressive leadership experience in multi-unit operations within fitness, retail, hospitality, consumer services, or a similarly dynamic, customer-focused industry.

• At least 3–5 years in a VP-level or equivalent executive position with direct oversight of regional or national operations teams, including multi-layered field organizations.

• Proven history of scaling operations in a high-growth or startup environment.

• Extensive experience with full P&L accountability and financial management across multiple locations or markets.

• Demonstrated success in building, developing, and retaining high-performing teams across geographically diverse markets.

• Strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of unit-level economics, sales drivers, and competitive landscapes.

• Exceptional strategic thinker with the discipline and readiness to be hands-on when the business requires it.

• Proven capability to lead through change—motivating and holding leaders accountable during transformations.

• Excellent communication skills, executive presence, and the ability to influence at all organizational levels.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed.
