Vice President, Pharmacy Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Overseeing the delivery of pharmaceutical care throughout all provider facilities, including both inpatient and outpatient settings.

• Defining the range of services for pharmacy operations across the organization.

• Conducting ongoing evaluations of operations.

• Ensuring the highest standards of quality and an appropriate scope to address local and regional patient care needs.

• Serving as a vital contributor to the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective pharmaceutical care across all Carle locations.

• Formulating a strategic plan for pharmacy operations throughout the system.

• Establishing and upholding practice standards for all professional staff.

• Collaborating with nursing leadership.

• Creating and managing a pharmacy purchasing strategy to sustain the pharmacy supply chain across all Carle entities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Licensed Pharmacist through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR).

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or a Master’s Degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, or a Doctorate in Pharmacy.

• Minimum of 5 years in Pharmacy Administration.

• In-depth understanding of State and Federal Pharmacy Regulations.

• Knowledge of the Federal 340B Program.

• Experience in creating and managing pharmacy budgets.
