Vice President, Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Lead the creation and implementation of clinical strategies aimed at achieving exceptional performance and patient outcomes within your designated area.

• Establish and nurture collaborative, impactful relationships with nephrology practices and healthcare providers to drive behavioral changes and clinical alignment.

• Guide, mentor, and motivate a diverse team comprising clinical (Nurses, Care Coordinators) and non-clinical members, promoting a high-performing and engaging "Village" culture.

• Oversee operational results, conduct monthly operating reviews (MORs), and pinpoint opportunities to expand the IKC program within your market.

• Collaborate with the wider DaVita organization to ensure seamless integration of IKC initiatives and foster overall village success.

• Introduce innovative practices to comprehensively address the healthcare needs of kidney patients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience leading substantial regional teams with significant budget/P&L responsibilities.

• In-depth knowledge of Value-Based Care models and the clinical/operational factors that influence medical spending and patient outcomes.

• A proven ability to persuade physicians and healthcare partners to embrace new care models.

• Experience in managing clinical staff (NPs, RNs, etc.) is highly preferred.

• A Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s degree (MBA/MHA) is strongly preferred.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% within the region to enhance presence and drive results in the field.
