This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Formulate and convey an engaging multi-year vision and strategy for products and technology within the domain.
• Convert institutional objectives and KPIs into a transparent, actionable domain roadmap that harmonizes short-term results with long-term strategic goals.
• Regularly assess market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscapes to refine the roadmap and foster innovation.
• Partner with business and academic leaders to ensure that product priorities and outcomes are closely aligned with institutional strategies.
• Supervise the portfolio governance activities of the domain, which involves prioritizing investments, managing resource allocation, maintaining vendor relationships and contracts, and overseeing performance across all initiatives.
• Direct the domain's portfolio governance activities, including investment prioritization, resource management, vendor relationship ownership, and performance monitoring of all initiatives.
• Set and manage essential metrics and reporting systems to track progress and evaluate the value delivered by the domain's portfolio.
• Define and uphold standards for architecture, compliance, security, and delivery methodologies to guarantee consistent, high-quality execution.
• Champion best practices in product management, Agile/Lean methodologies, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Plan, forecast, and oversee the budgets and expenditures for the domain.
• Conduct regular delivery and portfolio assessments with Product Development Managers to evaluate project health and ensure alignment with the roadmap.
• Offer guidance and mentorship to product development teams.
• A minimum of 10+ years of experience in product management, technology leadership, or a related field.
• At least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in overseeing large-scale technology transformations and managing product portfolios.
• A demonstrated history of leading and mobilizing large organizations around strategic initiatives within a complex, global environment.
• Extensive experience collaborating with Agile development teams, architects, and senior stakeholders.
• Strategic Thinking: Capability to develop and implement long-term strategic plans that align with business objectives.
• Leadership: Proven track record of leading, mentoring, and inspiring high-performing teams, while influencing cross-functional groups.
• Business Acumen: Profound understanding of market dynamics, customer requirements, and financial principles to enhance product profitability.
• Communication: Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, emphasizing data-driven decision-making.
• Relationship Management: Proven ability to cultivate and maintain relationships throughout the organization and with external vendors.
• Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of current and emerging technologies relevant to the domain.
