Vice President of Product – Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Take responsibility for the vision, strategy, and technical implementation of Atmosera’s key operational and client-oriented platforms: AMP (Atmosera Management Platform) and SERA.

• Develop platforms that streamline internal service workflows, enhance AI-assisted efficiency, and safeguard our capacity for exponential growth.

• Spearhead our integrated engineering organization, which includes our established teams in the US and our expanding nearshore hubs.

• Create dashboards that effectively translate intricate backend operations into a clear and noise-free experience for end-users.

• Serve as a cultural advocate, employing high emotional intelligence (EQ) to seamlessly unite our cross-border teams into a cohesive, high-performing development engine.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8+ years of combined experience in product management and engineering leadership, particularly focused on internal operational platforms, enterprise workflow tools, or scaling within an MSP, IT Services, or highly complex cloud environment.

• Native or full professional bilingual proficiency in both Spanish AND English, with the capability to conduct complex technical architecture reviews and strategic executive presentations fluently in both languages.

• Proven history of managing, scaling, and culturally integrating distributed engineering teams, with specific expertise in aligning LATAM execution with US corporate strategy.

• Willingness to travel up to 20% internationally to our US headquarters and regional LATAM engineering centers to promote team cohesion and strategic alignment.

• Proven ability to develop platforms that enhance leverage capacity (doing more with less) and replace outdated IT governance with automated workflows.

• In-depth, practical knowledge of the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, modern software architecture, and API integrations, along with the ability to engage directly in technical problem-solving with developers.

• Demonstrated expertise in building and deploying agentic AI workflows utilizing Azure AI Foundry and Microsoft Copilot Studio, especially in the context of operational automation, automated alert resolution, or LLM-assisted workflow generation.
