This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the daily operations of the IT department
• Manage the IT operational budget and supervise the implementation of the sanctioned capital plan
• Recruit, develop, and evaluate the performance of IT directors, managers, system administrators, and support personnel
• Provide regular operational metrics reports to the CIO
• Collaborate with the CIO on technology strategy, roadmap development, and architectural direction
• Formulate and implement the organization's IT strategy in alignment with business goals
• Establish IT governance, policies, standards, and best practices
• Oversee IT budgets, capital planning, vendor management, and contract negotiations
• Drive digital transformation efforts and pinpoint emerging technologies that add business value
• Supervise administration and support of all clinical and business platforms
• Manage integrations between third-party medical devices and core datasets and infrastructure
• Ensure 99.9% uptime of critical infrastructure
• Develop workflows and troubleshooting protocols
• Lead the execution of M&A integrations and facility enhancements
• Supervise data management, reporting, and analytics platforms to support decision-making
• Administer the organization’s cybersecurity program
• Ensure operational compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, and CMS standards
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure accountability
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred
• Over 10 years of progressive IT experience, ideally with exposure to a multi-site healthcare setting
• At least 6 years of experience leading a team responsible for infrastructure, service desk, and security operations
• Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR) and data compliance requirements
• Practical knowledge of cloud infrastructure and security operations tools
• Strong skills in people management and operational execution
• Certifications such as ITIL, CISM, CISSP, or PMP are advantageous, but not mandatory
