This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Assist in maintaining the production infrastructure that supports essential banking operations across various enterprise platforms and systems.

• Leverage AI-driven operational assistants to diagnose incidents, access platform knowledge, and execute operational tasks.

• Oversee system health, performance, availability, and reliability within both legacy and modern technology environments.

• Analyze incidents, conduct root cause investigations, and ensure swift resolutions for production challenges.

• Engage in change management, release management, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives.

• Work collaboratively with infrastructure, application, cybersecurity, risk, and business teams to guarantee service availability and stability.

• Recognize and implement opportunities for automation, operational enhancements, and improved platform efficiency.

• Play a key role in operational excellence projects and the advancement of AI-augmented operational practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in infrastructure operations, systems administration, site reliability engineering (SRE), platform engineering, or similar fields.

• Practical knowledge in supporting highly available enterprise production environments.

• Proficiency in Linux/Unix or Windows Server administration, cloud infrastructure operations, enterprise monitoring, or infrastructure automation.

• Strong understanding of incident, change, and problem management protocols.

• Advanced skills in troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

• Familiarity with IT operations in regulated sectors, ideally in banking or financial services.

• Knowledge of banking operations, including payments, treasury, lending, wealth or asset management, securities, custody, or operational risk is a plus.

• Experience with IBM Z, z/OS, CICS, DB2, IMS, RACF, JES, SDSF, or related technologies is advantageous.

• Ability to quickly learn and adapt within complex technology ecosystems.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for engaging with both technical and business teams.
