Veterinary Support Staff

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• We are seeking non-credentialed veterinary support staff with a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience focused on patient care to work REMOTE FROM HOME, managing high-pressure calls, and assisting pet owners during stressful situations.

• Experience in emergency or critical care is advantageous for certain positions.

• Respond to incoming calls and chats regarding toxic exposures, poisonings, and general inquiries about pet care.

• Triage cases, provide precise medical, health, and safety information, and document records in an electronic database.

⛳️ Requirements

• Non-credentialed veterinary support staff with a minimum of 3 years of direct patient care experience in a veterinary clinic or hospital.

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Proficient keyboarding and computer skills, including Microsoft Office and commonly used software.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; must be professional, empathetic, and maintain composure under pressure.

• Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry, with the ability to multitask while ensuring quality.

• Proficient in basic math: able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide across all measures, including fractions, decimals, ratios, and percentages.

• Capable of gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing complex or diverse information.

• Able to follow and implement instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.

• A customer service-oriented mindset with a sincere commitment to the well-being of callers.

• Must maintain confidentiality regarding client, product, and company information.
