This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +3 more states.
• Act as a vital member of the Regional Leadership Team.
• Assist territory managers by showcasing the value and advantages of the Animal Health portfolio.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations on the product line to key clients, strategic accounts, and professional veterinary organizations.
• Provide solutions that align with customer requirements and business objectives.
• Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to formulate and implement business strategies.
• Engage with key opinion leaders in clinical and educational environments to discuss the Animal Health portfolio and explore potential new business opportunities.
• Represent Animal Health at veterinary institutions, associations, and conferences.
• Act as the region's technical authority.
• Assess regional and individual technical training needs of sales representatives.
• Mentor sales representatives on technical selling techniques.
• Work together with R&D, Learning and Development, Marketing, Veterinary Insights & Medical Affairs, and Sales.
• Function as a medical consultant in vaccines, parasiticides, and therapeutics.
• Carry out core responsibilities autonomously.
• Discuss how the Animal Health portfolio can enhance veterinary customers’ medical capabilities and profitability.
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience combined.
• At least 5 years in clinical companion animal veterinary practice.
• A minimum of 5 years in the animal health industry or equivalent leadership and/or management experience.
• Ability to simplify complex issues into understandable content for respective audiences.
• Exceptional presentation and facilitation abilities.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with internal customers and hospital decision-makers.
• Capability to serve as a medical consultant in vaccines, parasiticides, and therapeutics.
• Ability to influence others without direct authority.
• Skill in building robust internal and industry-partner networks.
• Talent for providing innovative solutions to internal and customer challenges.
• Proficient in MS Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Familiarity with industry-relevant software such as Salesforce, Veeva, and Power BI.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Capacity to perform core responsibilities independently.
• Strong understanding of veterinary customer business processes and ability to discuss enhancing medical capabilities and profitability.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel 75% of the time.

• Preferred: Experience with companion animal vaccines, parasiticides, and therapeutics.
• Preferred: Relevant advanced degrees and research experience.
• Preferred: Experience in delivering training or instruction within a structured organization.
