This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Deliver virtual consultations for pet owners in Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island, and/or New Brunswick, adhering to relevant telemedicine regulations.
• Partner with hospitals to assist in meeting their patient care requirements.
• Offer care for exotic animals if desired.
• Select consultations based on availability and personal professional preferences.
• Contribute to enhancing access to veterinary services and reducing the burden on traditional veterinary clinics.
• Successful completion of the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE).
• An unrestricted license to practice veterinary medicine in one or more of the following: Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island, and/or New Brunswick.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing veterinarian.
• Excellent client communication skills.
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
• Experience with exotic species is a plus.
• Preference will be given to candidates licensed in multiple provinces, including Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island, Florida, and New York.
