
Vendor Relations Analyst – MCS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Collaborates with vendor management to assess staffing needs and work volume, designing and implementing cost-effective, consistent sourcing and screening strategies to ensure adequate coverage of high-quality vendors.
• Sources and identifies vendors using various methods, including job postings, cold calling, and online research.
• Clearly communicates the independent contractor arrangement to prospective vendors, covering aspects such as MCS policies, payment terms, invoicing procedures, and required insurance coverage.
• Presents offers, secures acceptances, and manages rejection notifications.
• Responsible for establishing and overseeing third-party vendor relationships to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and achieve optimal service profitability.
• Effectively negotiates and secures pricing with new vendors to align them with current MCS rates and market standards prior to weekly updates presented to management.
• Ensures the completion and coordination of onboarding documentation for new vendors.
• Conducts a variety of support functions to facilitate departmental processes, including maintaining accurate records, reports, and daily activity logs.
• Adheres to clearly defined procedures to complete daily tasks and responsibilities, achieving established goals.
• Applies existing procedures to resolve straightforward issues.
• Utilizes exceptional organizational and communication skills to engage with internal and/or external clients and team members.
• Functions as an individual contributor under direct supervision with limited autonomy.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by management.
• High school diploma is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Generally requires 0-2 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in property preservation is preferred.
