This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the daily operations of the Vendor Management team, establishing performance standards, offering guidance, and promoting a collaborative team environment.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate third-party vendors for compliance with regulatory and company guidelines.
• Assess vendor compliance with contractual commitments, service level agreements (SLAs), and industry regulations, addressing any issues that arise.
• Inspire and lead team members, manage workload distribution, and provide opportunities for coaching and professional development.
• Maintain and review departmental policies, procedures, forms, reports, training materials, job aids, and checklists.
• Analyze department reports and the vendor management system to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Conduct performance evaluations and communicate results, recommending additional training as necessary.
• Oversee vendor risk assessments, review due diligence documentation, and finalize vendor profile evaluations.
• Manage the monthly review and processing of vendor scorecards, including handling consumer complaints and security incidents.
• Supervise the annual vendor re-certification package review and processing.
• Manage the processes for vendor onboarding and termination.
• Review departmental exception reports and evaluate reporting processes.
• Address internal and external audit requests through comprehensive reviews.
• Oversee the evaluation of vendor on-site audit reports and the tracking of remediation plans.
• Handle escalated issues and present concerns to senior management.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
• High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least five years of experience in mortgage servicing, auditing, finance, compliance, or vendor management.
• A minimum of three years in a leadership or supervisory capacity overseeing a team of two or more individuals.
• Proven experience in establishing, negotiating, and enforcing vendor contracts and service level agreements.
• Experience in management reporting.
• Ability to work independently in a complex remote environment while managing nationwide team members and vendors.
• Advanced skills in Outlook, SharePoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Visio.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and technical abilities.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to grasp complex problems and seek alternative solutions.
