Sourcing Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee sourcing initiatives across critical spending categories

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and Category Managers to formulate and implement sourcing strategies

• Direct comprehensive sourcing events, including RFPs, RFQs, negotiations, and competitive bidding processes

• Perform market research, supplier evaluations, and benchmarking analysis

• Assess supplier proposals, facilitate bid evaluations, and present sourcing recommendations

• Establish and nurture supplier relationships, promoting performance, innovation, and ongoing improvement

• Negotiate commercial agreements and contract stipulations

• Manage the entire contract lifecycle, including drafting, execution, renewals, amendments, and closeout

• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and business teams to identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks

• Ensure adherence to procurement policies, governance mandates, and approved supplier programs

• Assist in the development and execution of category strategies

• Analyze spending data and market trends to discover cost-saving opportunities and process enhancements

• Mentor Buyers and procurement team members on sourcing methods and best practices

• Promote procurement process excellence and continuous improvement initiatives

• Maintain procurement records and sourcing documentation in procurement systems and eSourcing platforms such as Coupa

• Contribute to team, departmental, and organizational goals through KPIs and strategic initiatives

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

• Over 5 years of advanced experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or a related field within a multinational or global organization

• Proven track record in leading sourcing events, supplier negotiations, and contract management activities

• Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret spending data, market intelligence, and supplier performance metrics

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities with the capacity to influence at various organizational levels

• Familiarity with procurement technologies and eSourcing platforms, ideally Coupa

• Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple priorities and intricate sourcing projects in a dynamic environment
