Vendor Management Professional

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Serve as the intermediary between vendors and the organization.

• Review and negotiate the terms of vendor contracts.

• Engage with vendors on daily operational matters.

• Cultivate positive relationships with vendors.

• Oversee vendor performance.

• Investigate issues related to invoices and contracts.

• Address and resolve discrepancies.

• Influence the strategic direction of the department.

• Make decisions regarding technical strategies for project elements.

• Work independently without requiring supervision.

• Set objectives and strategies for assignments.

• Travel occasionally to Humana offices for meetings or training sessions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive operational experience.

• Leadership experience managing a large, metrics-driven operational unit.

• Strong facilitation skills.

• A genuine passion for enhancing consumer experiences within an organization.

• Six Sigma or Project Management Institute certification is preferred.

• Previous experience in healthcare or insurance is preferred.

• Familiarity with Medicare Advantage is preferred.

• Experience with Grievance and Appeals is preferred.

• At least 3 years of experience in pharmacy claims processing is preferred.

• Ability to work from a dedicated space to ensure the protection of member PHI/HIPAA information without interruptions.

• Self-provided internet service with a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps.

• Willingness to travel occasionally to Humana offices for training or meetings.
