This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Montana, +2 more states.
• Oversee and forecast incremental funding proposals at the vendor level while ensuring monthly revenues, net gross margin percentages, and gross margin dollars are met or exceeded.
• Leverage financial data to offer strategic insights aimed at improving profitability and operational efficiency.
• Foster and maintain high-level vendor relationships, serving as the primary point of contact and ensuring open communication channels.
• Develop, monitor, and recommend strategic and tactical plans for the vendor and TD SYNNEX business relationship.
• Identify and promote new vendor opportunities, focusing on the creation of new services that integrate unique vendor resources with TD SYNNEX capabilities to deliver a distinct value proposition.
• Advise procurement and supply chain teams on effective inventory management strategies.
• Act as the main operational escalation point for vendor lines, proactively identifying and addressing operational challenges and bottlenecks.
• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on the assigned vendor’s technology and programs.
• Regularly meet with executives to discuss product trends, performance, profitability, and the outcomes of product line promotions.
• Communicate vendor strategies, manage rebate programs, develop initiatives to support business unit directions, and collaborate with Marketing to drive demand.
• Negotiate large-scale contracts while managing key vendor relationships at an executive level to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
• Conduct quarterly vendor business reviews and engage in marketing events.
• Provide sales support and actively collaborate with sales team executives to uncover new opportunities.
• Deliver top-tier product knowledge, insights, and sales support to facilitate successful sales initiatives.
• Mentor and train lower-level roles or assist in the onboarding of new hires.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Competent in using standard office equipment.
• Basic skills in data entry, mathematics, and problem-solving.
• Strong proficiency in communication skills in English and other pertinent languages, including the ability to deliver formal presentations.
• Effectively engages with senior management and possesses strong negotiation skills.
• Demonstrates leadership qualities, initiative, and assertiveness.
• Exhibits excellent organizational and time management skills and is adaptable to change.
• Upholds social, ethical, and organizational standards while maintaining confidentiality.
• Self-driven, able to work independently while also collaborating effectively.
• Comfortable with extended phone use and both stationary and active work environments.
• Quick learner, capable of adapting to new systems and technology, and proficient in advanced computer systems and applications.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional non-standard shifts or overtime in a remote or work-from-home setting.
