Vendor Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nicaragua.

📋 Description

• Organize and schedule product demonstrations and discovery calls with software vendors.

• Participate in all demonstrations, taking comprehensive and structured notes that capture essential features, pricing, and unique selling points.

• Create written comparisons of vendor platforms against existing tools, including a clear analysis of strengths and weaknesses supported by direct quotes from demonstrations.

• Oversee ongoing communication with vendors and follow up to acquire additional details or clarifications after demonstrations.

• Maintain a centralized tracker of all tools assessed, their status, and recommendation results.

• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to grasp requirements prior to vendor evaluations.

• Identify discrepancies, red flags, or gaps in vendor offerings and escalate them to the appropriate decision-makers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in software procurement, vendor evaluation, or technology research roles.

• Outstanding attention to detail—capable of accurately capturing and organizing extensive amounts of information.

• Excellent written English—structured, professional, and precise.

• Experience in producing comparative analyses or vendor assessments within a business environment.

• Proficient in managing multiple vendor relationships and evaluation timelines concurrently.

• Must possess prior remote work experience, be well-versed in remote collaboration tools and platforms (such as Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Asana, or similar), and have ideally worked with companies based in the US or UK. Applications lacking this experience will not be considered.
