This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• We are in search of a highly proficient and creative Software Sales Value Engineer to enhance our sales team.
• The ideal candidate will bring a distinctive combination of technical knowledge, sales expertise, and a customer-focused mindset to help our clients unlock the full potential of our software solutions.
• This position plays a crucial role in fostering customer success by aligning our products with their business needs, showcasing the value proposition, and guiding them through the sales journey to achieve mutually beneficial results.
• Solution Consulting: Partner with sales Account Directors and potential clients to comprehend their business goals, challenges, and requirements.
• Translate those insights into customized software solutions.
• Value Discovery: Facilitate in-depth discovery sessions with clients to identify their primary pain points, value drivers, and clearly articulate how our software can meet their unique needs and provide measurable value.
• Value Proposition Development: Create compelling value propositions, business cases, and ROI analyses that illustrate the concrete benefits and return on investment (ROI) of our software solutions, tailored to each client's specific requirements.
• Support Solution Demonstration: Utilize technical expertise to deliver persuasive and informative software demonstrations and proofs of value (POVs) that highlight the value and capabilities of our software solutions in addressing client challenges and enhancing business outcomes.
• Technical Validation: Collaborate closely with product management and engineering teams to confirm the technical feasibility and alignment of proposed solutions with client requirements, ensuring a smooth transition from pre-sales to implementation.
• Sales Enablement: Offer ongoing training, guidance, and support to sales teams on positioning, messaging, and selling software solutions based on value-based selling principles, industry best practices, and competitive differentiation.
• Customer Advocacy: Act as a trusted advisor and advocate for clients throughout the sales process, fostering robust relationships, addressing concerns, and proactively resolving any technical or business-related issues to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
• Continuous Improvement: Keep up to date with industry trends, market dynamics, and the competitive landscape, while actively sharing insights and feedback to enhance product development, marketing, and sales strategies for continuous improvement and innovation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in enterprise technical sales, solution consulting, or pre-sales engineering roles within the software industry.
• Profound understanding of software architecture, cloud technologies, and SaaS solutions, with the capability to translate technical concepts into business value propositions.
• Demonstrated success in delivering complex software demonstrations, POCs, and value-based presentations to varied audiences, including C-level executives and technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of assessing client needs, analyzing data, and formulating strategic recommendations to drive sales results.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, influence decision-makers, and navigate intricate sales cycles.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and customer-centric with a passion for driving customer success and meeting business objectives.
• Familiarity with sales methodologies, CRM systems (e.g., MEDDPICC, Salesforce), and project management tools is advantageous.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalent are beneficial.
