This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Oversee and direct the value analysis program throughout the healthcare organization to promote product standardization, achieve cost savings, and enhance patient outcomes.
• Work in partnership with clinical, operational, financial, and supply chain leaders to assess products, technologies, and services utilizing data-driven insights and evidence-based methodologies.
• Manage new product submissions, drive value analysis initiatives, and assist in strategic decision-making that yields optimal total value for clients and patients.
• Direct the daily functions of the value analysis program, focusing on product standardization, utilization management, and initiatives aimed at cost reduction.
• Act as the primary point of contact for new product submissions, urgent one-time use requests, and products introduced by vendors.
• Collaborate with clinical and operational leadership to ensure suitable physician and stakeholder representation in value analysis teams and initiatives.
• Organize, prepare, and facilitate meetings for the value analysis team and related program activities.
• Analyze and synthesize data from supply chain, clinical, financial, quality, and utilization sources to uncover opportunities for savings and operational enhancements.
• Conduct research and present peer-reviewed clinical evidence to substantiate evaluations of products, technologies, and services.
• Establish evaluation criteria and lead the assessment of products, effectively communicating findings and recommendations to physicians, stakeholders, and vendors.
• Spearhead implementation and conversion efforts related to product standardization and shifts in vendor market share.
• Create and maintain policies, procedures, workflows, and documentation related to the value analysis program.
• Coordinate educational initiatives and mentor value analysis specialists to foster professional growth and enhance program effectiveness.
• A relevant degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of pertinent experience is required.
• Proven experience in leading value analysis, supply chain, healthcare operations, or similar healthcare initiatives.
• Understanding of value analysis methodologies, product standardization practices, and principles of utilization management.
• Capability to analyze clinical, operational, financial, and quality data to aid in decision-making.
• Experience in evaluating products, technologies, and services based on evidence-based practices and clinical literature.
• Strong skills in project management, facilitation, and organization.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Ability to cultivate collaborative relationships with physicians, clinical leaders, and stakeholders from various functions.
