Vaccines Specialist, Health and Science Professional

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Promote the Vaccines Portfolio across various customers and channels.

• Drive sales within the designated territory to achieve approved business objectives.

• Engage with customers both in person and virtually.

• Develop and execute business and territory call plans along with live/virtual engagement strategies.

• Build rapport and manage relationships with customers, Therapeutic Area Specialists, and Key Opinion Leaders.

• Launch new products and create strategies for business relationships and formulary access.

• Utilize internal reports and analytics to identify and act on strategic business opportunities.

• Apply approved product and disease-state information, along with patient resources, in compliance with guidelines.

• Evaluate market barriers and drivers across Public Health, Private Market, Retail, and other channels.

• Collaborate with Field Medical, Account Management, and other cross-functional colleagues.

• Complete customer call entries, expense submissions, and other administrative tasks promptly and in compliance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in professional sales or promotional activities, small business ownership or entrepreneurship, marketing, customer service, account management, relevant healthcare/scientific roles, education, or full-time military experience.

• Alternatively, an associate’s degree with 6+ years of experience, or a high school diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of relevant experience.

• Must reside within 25 miles of the territory's border.

• Valid U.S. driver’s license and a driving record that meets company standards.

• Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the last 7 years disqualifies the candidate.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical sales, or medical-related marketing is preferred.

• A strong track record of sales or marketing success is preferred.

• Strong territory management skills are preferred.

• Excellent communication skills are preferred.

• Demonstrated teamwork, leadership capability, and accountability are preferred.

• Experience with the Vaccines therapeutic area and its products is preferred.

• Familiarity with the territory’s customers and markets is preferred.

• Preference given to those residing within the territory boundaries.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.

• Permanent work authorization in the United States is required; U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
