• Collaborate closely with Product and Growth teams to design and optimize user funnels, onboarding processes, paywalls, and retention strategies.
• Evaluate and continually enhance the comprehensive user journey — from acquisition to long-term retention.
• Conduct independent analysis of product analytics — utilizing Mixpanel funnels, cohort analysis, retention curves, and drop-off patterns.
• Link UX decisions to business metrics — including activation rates, retention curves, LTV, and conversion rates.
• Establish hypotheses, experiments, and success criteria for each UX initiative.
• Utilize session recordings (Clarity, FullStory, Hotjar), heatmaps, and behavioral data to uncover friction points.
• Actively request and define new analytics instrumentation and reporting requirements in collaboration with the data team.
• Validate UX modifications through A/B testing (using GrowthBook or similar tools) — including hypothesis formulation, implementation, and result analysis.
• Develop, enforce, and evolve a clear and scalable design system (implemented directly in the frontend, rather than Figma-first).
• Guide and manage designers and frontend engineers involved in UI/UX projects — establishing the definition of completed work.
• Set the standards for visual and interaction quality across the product.
• Create a structured research practice — defining priorities, conducting interviews, surveys, and usability tests.
• Convert raw research findings into prioritized, actionable product decisions.
• Mentor and enhance the skills of the existing UX researcher on the team — providing structure, frameworks, and clear priorities.
• 5–8+ years of experience in UX, Product Design, or design leadership, preferably in D2C, SaaS, or consumer digital products.
• Strong, hands-on capability to analyze product data independently — you generate your own funnels without waiting for reports.
• Extensive experience with Mixpanel, GA4, Amplitude, or comparable product analytics tools.
• Familiarity with designing and executing A/B tests (using GrowthBook, Optimizely, or similar) from start to finish.
• Proven track record of driving measurable enhancements in retention, activation, or LTV.
• In-depth understanding of conversion funnels, retention loops, and user behavior at scale.
• Solid design background with a portfolio showcasing conversion-focused, data-validated work.
