• Define, design, and deliver patient experiences from start to finish, primarily for the mobile application (iOS & Android) and occasionally for the web platform.
• Rapidly create prototypes using Figma, coding, AI tools, or any method that effectively conveys the concept.
• Take ownership and collaborate on the craftsmanship in your domain, focusing on visual quality, interaction design, edge cases, and production refinement.
• Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership over your work post-design handoff: review builds, test user flows, identify quality issues, and partner with Engineering through QA to ensure the final experience meets the established standards.
• Design commerce experiences encompassing all facets of ordering: refills, subscriptions, account/order management, and more.
• Establish a high standard for information architecture, mobile-specific requirements and best practices, and aesthetically pleasing designs that can adapt to edge cases.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering throughout the entire process from exploration to production, not just during handoff. This role will require extensive collaboration.
• Engage with providers and patients to anchor your work in genuine user needs, then convert those insights into design decisions that align with product strategy and business objectives.
• Contribute to the success of app adoption through various initiatives, from enhancing its appeal in the app store to supporting growth and positioning efforts.
• Over 5 years of product design experience with a portfolio showcasing real, shipped work.
• Proven experience in designing polished, consumer-facing mobile app experiences, preferably in the e-commerce sector.
• Strong design viewpoints that are flexible.
• Exceptional product taste with the capability to navigate between strategy, systems thinking, and meticulous execution.
• Initiative in utilizing AI tools to enhance the quality and efficiency of your design workflow, along with clear examples of practical application.
• A deep commitment to user experience that extends beyond visuals: encompassing speed, reliability, responsiveness, accessibility, and cross-device quality.
• Experience in defining and managing projects and requirements, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement.
• A tendency to focus on building, testing, learning, and shipping, as we embrace an experimental mindset.
