This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Take ownership of the design system as a product, encompassing components, patterns, and guidelines for usage.
• Create and sustain reusable UI primitives and interaction patterns that can scale across various teams.
• Actively manage frontend UX-related technical debt, addressing quality gaps and inconsistencies that hinder development.
• Execute coded prototyping for intricate workflows using synthetic or mock data, particularly for data-rich or AI-enhanced experiences.
• Enhance the quality and consistency of experiences across motion, responsive behavior, and mobile contexts.
• Collaborate closely with Design and Product teams during the discovery phase to confirm feasibility and minimize downstream rework.
• Serve as the liaison between design intentions and frontend execution, clarifying ambiguities and aligning on constraints.
• Contribute high-quality production code and work alongside engineering on system-level frontend decisions.
• You possess advanced frontend engineering skills (React, TypeScript, Tailwind, Storybook) and have experience delivering production UI.
• You have experience with design systems and component libraries at scale.
• You exhibit high design fluency, with a keen eye for interaction details, usability, accessibility, and visual quality.
• You have experience working within AI-enhanced development environments or utilizing AI-assisted tools to expedite workflows.
