Utility Integration Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Oversee the integration of platforms with utility clients and vendors, guaranteeing the timely delivery of a range of integration projects that encompass requirements discovery, scoping, project planning, project management, testing, and production launch.

• Advocate for the advantages of EnergyHub’s platform APIs and integrations (such as OpenADR) by communicating essential use cases, benefits, and the comprehensive integration process.

• Provide access to API documentation, sandbox environments, and testing procedures to ensure a thorough understanding of the integration process.

• Create standardized playbooks for the integration of platform systems including Customer Information Systems, Grid DERMS, and OpenADR dispatches.

• Collaborate with internal teams including Product Management, Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Sales, and Client Success to ensure that clients and partners are aware of the critical path and stay on schedule.

• Facilitate successful integrations and launches by coordinating with external cross-functional teams, particularly program management, engineering, and product teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree with 5-7 years of experience in technical program management, product management, developer relations, or similar roles.

• Familiarity with demand response, API integrations, and communication protocols (e.g., IEEE 2030.5, OpenADR).

• Exceptional communication skills, particularly in external interactions with customers and partners/vendors, leading technical and implementation discussions.

• Proficient in REST API architecture, including status codes and authentication methods.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders while effectively utilizing available resources.

• A track record of articulating complex issues and needs clearly and succinctly to influence and advocate for change.

• Experience with cloud-based SaaS products.
