This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee and assess utility construction projects related to natural gas, electric, telecommunications, and municipal infrastructure.
• Ensure that construction practices adhere to safety regulations as well as approved plans, specifications, and standards at the federal, state, local, and company levels.
• Act as a third-party representative on behalf of the utility or facility owner.
• Safeguard public safety, maintain infrastructure integrity, and uphold project quality.
• Operate independently in the field, managing multiple locations on a daily basis.
• Prior experience or familiarity with natural gas, electric, telecommunications, or municipal utility construction is preferred but not mandatory.
• Solid understanding of utility safety protocols, excavation standards, and damage prevention regulations.
• Competence in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and utility maps.
• Ability to work autonomously in the field while navigating various locations each day.
• Familiarity with mobile technology and electronic reporting systems like ArcGIS Survey123 and/or Field Maps is preferred but not essential.
• Experience with GPS equipment such as Trimble and/or Topcon is preferred but not required.
• Top-notch equipment provided.
