• Co-lead a delivery team comprising internal business subject matter experts, IT staff, client stakeholders, and technical professionals from an external integrator.
• Oversee and facilitate the timely delivery of services to clients while adhering to scope and budget, including assigning and managing personnel to produce client deliverables.
• Guide and document decision-making processes on behalf of clients within the established governance framework of the project.
• Organize task assignments for internal and client teams in accordance with the project plan.
• Report on project and delivery progress to clients, team members, and other stakeholders, including leading client meetings.
• Engage in marketing and business development initiatives, which may involve: writing blog entries, attending industry conferences, participating in industry organizations, leading or taking part in prospective client business development meetings, identifying and defining additional work with current clients, reviewing Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and collaboratively developing responses to RFPs with our proposal writing team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Political Science, Computer Science, Public Administration, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience working with federal, state, or local government in areas such as utility billing/CIS systems, implementation project management, or business administration and process analysis.
• Familiarity with agile and hybrid software implementation methodologies.
• Experience with utility billing/CIS systems including Cayenta, Hansen, NorthStar, Oracle, SpryPoint, Systems & Software, Tyler Technologies, Universus, or VertexOne is preferred.
• Experience with third-party interfaces like Asset Management, GIS, AMI, MDMS, OMS, Payment Processing Portals, Customer Engagement Portals, and Work Order systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of quality assurance/control processes and proven proactive problem management abilities.
• An advanced degree is preferred, along with a current project management certification (PMP or CAPM) or an organizational change management certification.
• Consulting experience with a national or regional consulting firm on projects involving public sector clients, relevant independent consulting experience, or prior work with a software vendor or system integrator in requirements gathering and software testing.
