Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary project management leader for a media monitoring and multimedia development initiative.

• Oversee contract scope, timelines, risks, issues, quality assurance, communication, staffing coordination, and financial oversight to ensure effective Firm Fixed Price execution.

• Maintain a comprehensive work plan and delivery schedule for Meltwater platform support, media monitoring, daily media sweeps, e-clipping delivery, analytics reporting, press release distribution, and multimedia production efforts.

• Collaborate with government contacts, subject matter experts, Meltwater representatives, and internal creative and communications teams to prioritize tasks and address delivery challenges.

• Manage the relationship with Meltwater, including platform access for up to 20 SBA users, training coordination, user administration, reporting/dashboard requirements, troubleshooting, and vendor escalations.

• Supervise media monitoring operations to guarantee relevant daily sweeps, accurate e-clipping reports, functioning hyperlinks, suitable search parameters, and timely delivery by 9:00 a.m. ET, Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays.

• Support media monitoring and analytics reporting that encompasses reach/impressions, engagement, sentiment, share of voice, pickups, social media metrics, Google Analytics integration where applicable, and other performance metrics.

• Oversee multimedia and digital production tasks, including graphics, infographics, reels, social media posts, animated elements, digital flyers, and high-quality videos for social and digital platforms.

• Track annual production goals and manage approvals, version control, quality assurance, and the delivery of final digital assets to the government.

• Prepare for surge needs during high-profile disasters, including additional clippings, adjusted monitoring parameters, holiday coverage requests, and rapid-turn multimedia or reporting requirements.

• Create and maintain status reports, meeting agendas, action item logs, risk and issue registers, schedule updates, financial/burn tracking, and client-ready communications as needed.

• Ensure deliverables comply with PWS requirements, client messaging guidelines, Section 508 accessibility standards, information security requirements, and relevant contract procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in managing projects, programs, or task orders within communications, public affairs, digital media, emergency management, management consulting, or a similar field.

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business, or a related discipline.

• Experience in coordinating media monitoring, social listening, analytics reporting, press release distribution, media databases, or similar communications platforms.

• Preferably, experience with the Meltwater platform.

• Experience in overseeing multimedia or digital content production, including videos, graphics, infographics, social media assets, or other external digital products.

• Strong skills in client relationship management, vendor coordination, meeting facilitation, documentation, and both written and verbal communication.

• Ability to manage conflicting deadlines, shifting priorities, and surge requirements during urgent and high-visibility communication efforts.

• Familiarity with digital accessibility, plain-language communication, and quality assurance practices for public-facing materials.

• Capability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance or federal suitability determination.

• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
