US Journalist – Insurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Generate daily news articles and features focused on the US insurance industry.

• Conduct regular interviews with C-suite executives and key industry figures.

• Uncover original stories and provide insightful analysis.

• Establish and nurture a robust network of contacts within the insurance sector.

• Represent the organization at conferences, awards ceremonies, and other industry events.

• Proven experience in journalism (with a preference for insurance or business reporting).

• Strong interviewing abilities and confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders.

• A proactive attitude—capable of pursuing contacts and discovering stories.

• Exceptional writing skills, keen news judgment, and adherence to deadlines.

• Interest in leveraging AI tools for enhanced reporting.

• A collaborative, inquisitive, and ambitious disposition.

• Must be based in the US, with occasional domestic travel required.
