This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Curate and produce engaging, high-quality educational content for all State & Communities (S&C) mastheads.

• Author national educational content for various platforms including print, digital, newsletters, and social media.

• Assist in coordinating the education content calendar, important deadlines, and publication processes.

• Enhance audience engagement through data-driven storytelling that caters to reader preferences and platform trends.

• Work collaboratively with S&C masthead teams and internal stakeholders to ensure content aligns with national strategy and maximizes reach.

• Promote innovation, collaborate with contributing journalists, and advocate for a diverse and inclusive newsroom environment.

• Experienced in journalism or content creation, with a strong emphasis on educational topics.

• Demonstrated ability to create and implement content that enhances audience engagement and growth.

• Strong grasp of digital publishing, audience analytics, and SEO best practices.

• Excellent editorial judgment, ensuring content adheres to high standards of accuracy, legality, and relevance.

• Leadership qualities to encourage innovation, mentorship, and teamwork across departments.
