This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Disseminate product news across various LabX Media Group brands.

• Generate 50–60 short-to-mid-length product news articles weekly, tailored to fit the audience across LMG properties.

• Adapt each announcement to cater to the specific readership of the publication.

• Enhance each article for both traditional SEO and generative engine optimization (GEO).

• Uphold a strict fact-checking process — no specifications, regulatory claims, or technical figures are published without source verification.

• Create sales intelligence briefs by developing succinct internal documents for LMG’s sales representatives.

• Facilitate earned media coverage.

• Generate editorial content that supports advertisers’ initiatives by elaborating and contextualizing their narratives for our audiences.

• Maintain and enhance the workflow.

• Function within — and actively refine — a standardized library of AI prompt templates for article drafting and brief creation.

• Contribute to workflow documentation to ensure that processes are reproducible and transferable.

• Stay updated with advancements in AI content tools and proactively suggest enhancements.


⛳️ Requirements

• A background in science, life sciences, science media, or science marketing communications.

• Strong and clear writing skills — particularly the ability to swiftly and accurately translate technical product information into audience-appropriate editorial content at scale.

• Proven proficiency with AI writing tools and a structured, methodical approach to AI-assisted content production.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a high personal standard for factual accuracy.

• Self-motivated and highly organized — this position entails significant daily autonomy alongside clearly defined output expectations.

• Familiarity with laboratory equipment categories: analytical instruments, consumables, reagents, automation, or laboratory software.

• Previous experience in B2B media, trade publishing, or science marketing communications.

• Working knowledge of SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Semrush, or Ahrefs.

• Understanding of how media advertising products function — including sponsored content, category sponsorship, newsletter placements, and display.

• A genuine interest in optimizing AI workflows, beyond just routine tool usage.
