US IPO Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Develop continuous research coverage for all US IPOs and direct listings with an anticipated deal size of [USD100mn or greater, excluding closed-end funds and SPACs]

• Utilize a data-driven approach to evaluate and rank deals

• Create pre-IPO company tearsheets

• Conduct pre-IPO fundamental research

• Provide insights on pre-IPO valuation and pricing

• Summarize trading activities post-IPO

• Preview post-IPO lock-up expirations

• Deliver a high-touch service for selected institutional clients, which includes:

• Pre-deal: Pre-positioning, Market intelligence/positioning/book color, Management meeting inquiries, Excel modeling, Tailored notes for pre-IPO/cornerstone stake (NDA-driven)

• Post-deal: Lock-up expiry trading, Desk access: Reach the team via email/messaging, Direct calls

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant research and/or investment experience for institutional clients (5 years+)

• Proven experience and network within US equity capital markets

• Strong writing skills for research documentation
