This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Review newly issued commercial insurance policies to ensure the accuracy of the information provided.
• Conduct quality evaluations of policies that have been issued without prior underwriting assessment.
• Research and confirm business information utilizing internal systems, internet resources, public records, vendor tools, and other available instruments.
• Analyze business operations, property attributes, occupancy specifics, and risk-related data to uncover inconsistencies.
• Assess whether the submitted information meets underwriting criteria and adheres to company policies.
• Record findings and implement necessary policy amendments when inaccuracies are found.
• Relay validation outcomes and necessary modifications to agents, clients, and internal stakeholders.
• Employ tools such as BIE, CLS, mapping applications, aerial imagery, public records, and online search resources to aid validation efforts.
• Keep precise records of investigations, findings, and policy modifications.
• Work collaboratively with underwriting, operations, and agency partners to efficiently resolve discrepancies.
• Track trends and pinpoint recurring quality issues to facilitate continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure that tasks are completed in accordance with established service level agreements and quality benchmarks.
• Background in insurance, underwriting support, policy assessment, risk evaluation, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and investigative abilities to evaluate data from various sources.
• Proficient in conducting internet-based research and verifying business information.
• Exceptional attention to detail and dedication to data precision.
• Capability to identify inconsistencies, evaluate risk data, and make informed decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and work autonomously in a fast-paced setting.
• Familiarity with Excel, Outlook, and insurance-related systems like BIE and CLS is preferred.
