Commercial Real Estate Underwriting Analyst, Argus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Evaluate commercial real estate transactions involving office, mixed-use, and urban infill properties.

• Develop and sustain comprehensive financial models in Excel for acquisitions and development initiatives.

• Utilize ARGUS Enterprise for assessing property-level cash flows and valuations.

• Assist in development underwriting, including assumptions related to lease-up periods, capital expenditures, and timelines.

• Conduct debt analysis encompassing DSCR, loan sizing, and evaluations of capital structure.

• Review rent rolls, operating statements, and market data.

• Create investment memoranda and underwriting summaries to facilitate internal decision-making.

• Collaborate closely with a US-based team on ongoing deals.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of experience in commercial real estate underwriting or investment analysis.

• Significant experience with office, mixed-use, or institutional commercial real estate assets.

• Familiarity with ARGUS Enterprise is preferred (strong Excel modeling skills are essential).

• Experience in supporting acquisitions or development underwriting.

• Background in debt underwriting (DSCR, loan sizing).

• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

• Proficient in English.

• Solid experience with ARGUS Enterprise.

• Advanced Excel modeling abilities.

• Experience underwriting both commercial (office, retail, industrial) and residential (multifamily, BTR/SFR) property types.

• Debt underwriting experience is mandatory.
