This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Supervise and actively participate in the creation, launch, and continuous enhancement of materials for all nursing products, including NCLEX-RN, NCLEX-PN, and high-stakes nursing program examinations.
• Direct content development across courses, question banks, benchmark exams, and case studies, encompassing Next Generation NCLEX (NGN) formats.
• Recruit, onboard, manage, and coordinate a team of contracted and/or part-time nursing content editors, providing them with consistent feedback, guidance, and support.
• Collaborate with content and technology teams on AI question generation, which includes developing and refining prompts, generating questions, and reviewing AI outputs for clinical accuracy and exam alignment.
• Utilize clinical and educational expertise to evaluate author-submitted and AI-generated nursing content for precision, clarity, and alignment with current standards, while offering constructive feedback. Conduct quality assurance processes and targeted psychometric revisions on exam items.
• Create and maintain topic identifiers, learning objectives, and question generation frameworks for both RN and PN content.
• Draft and uphold style, grammar, and image guidelines, alongside author-facing instructions and editorial standards.
• Familiarize oneself with new products and exams as Blueprint adopts them, leveraging this knowledge to aid project creation and develop documentation and guidance for the team.
• Collaborate closely with the copy editing, illustration, and content operations teams, as well as other internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in content marketing initiatives, contributing nursing expertise to social media and other externally-focused content projects.
• Coordinate with other Blueprint teams on cross-specialty and cross-functional projects.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in nursing; RN license and board certification are mandatory.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience is required.
• At least 2 years of experience in nursing education or content development is necessary.
• Proven experience in managing or mentoring a team.
• Comprehensive understanding of both RN and PN scopes of practice.
• Proficient in English with exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, fully remote, and collaborative environment.
• Familiarity with collaborative software such as Google Docs is essential.
• Self-motivated; excels when working with remote and distributed teams.
• Strong preference will be given to candidates with prior editorial experience, especially in nursing or medical content.
