This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.
• Conduct investigations into automobile accidents involving one or more vehicles that result in property damage and/or bodily injury, along with attorney or litigation involvement.
• Evaluate coverage, liability, and damages associated with claims.
• Interact with clients and attorneys via phone, email, text, and occasionally through video conferencing.
• Negotiate equitable injury settlements with clients, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants.
• Examine damage specifics and interpret policy documents to ascertain coverage.
• Independently manage casualty claims and relevant lines of business.
• Implement claim-handling methodologies to navigate complex and challenging scenarios.
• Utilize estimation tools, job aids, and settlement platforms effectively.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation of claims in the claims management system.
• Facilitate a swift, fair, and straightforward claims process while keeping clients informed.
• Safeguard the company’s financial interests by adhering to policy agreements.
• Assist with UM/UIM represented litigation claims in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Minnesota.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in evaluating bodily injury claims and negotiation is preferred.
• At least 2 years’ experience in claims adjusting is preferred.
• Experience in handling casualty claims in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Minnesota is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills, particularly over the phone.
• Capacity to work independently and remotely while effectively managing time.
• Understanding of insurance policies, coverage, and liability assessment.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with tools and platforms utilized for claims evaluation.
• Ability to operate within the Central Time Zone.
• A dedicated home office that is free from distractions.
• Minimum internet speed of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload.
• An appropriate work surface and seating arrangement.
• Willingness to undergo a background investigation.
• May need to obtain an adjuster and/or appraiser license within 60 days of hire.
