UI/UX Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create UI/UX designs for AI-driven experiences across EdTech web and mobile applications utilized by students and educators.

• Manage the entire design process, which includes problem framing, user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes.

• Develop user-facing AI/LLM functionalities that minimize effort while empowering users with built-in review, edit, and undo capabilities.

• Utilize vibe coding and contemporary AI design tools such as Claude Design, Lovable, and Figma to swiftly transition from concept to operational prototype.

• Construct and uphold reusable components, variants, and design tokens to ensure product consistency at scale.

• Design interfaces that are accessible by default, adhering to WCAG 2.2 AA standards.

• Create mobile-first, responsive designs suitable for both smartphones and desktops.

• Deliver engineering-ready handoffs that include flows, states, validation rules, and component specifications.

• Collaborate with designers, engineers, product managers, and learning specialists in rapid iteration cycles.

• Infuse energy, creativity, and momentum into a compact product team.

• A robust portfolio showcasing shipped product designs for web and mobile, demonstrating clear rationale behind design choices.

• Proficient in Figma along with visual and interaction design skills, covering hierarchy, spacing, typography, and states.

• Authentic product intuition; capability to analyze briefs, clarify assumptions, and prioritize essential aspects.

• Enthusiasm for crafting AI-enhanced, personalized user experiences while maintaining user control over AI interactions.

• Familiarity with modern AI design and prototyping tools, with a readiness to adapt as new tools emerge.

• Systems-oriented mindset with a focus on reusable components, variants, and design tokens.

• An accessibility-focused approach to design.

• Product-oriented and able to navigate tasks without needing complete guidance.

• Startup mentality: ownership, speed, inquisitiveness, and a proactive attitude.
