This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Deliver coverage and assistance to communities with unfilled Service and Maintenance Manager roles.
• Offer managerial aid to communities experiencing critical and time-sensitive challenges.
• Act as the subject matter specialist on direct maintenance and service operations, vendor management, and mentoring.
• Function as the interim Service Manager whenever and wherever necessary.
• Provide the standard operational support expected of AIR’s Service Managers.
• Oversee property maintenance management across multiple assigned communities.
• Supervise service requests, management, turnaround processes, preventative maintenance, training, and staff oversight.
• Assist Regional Offices in managing property operations.
• Support Property Managers, Service Managers, Regional Property Managers, Area Service Managers, Directors of Service & Quality, and Directors of Operations with audit-related action plans.
• Must be willing and able to travel at least 75% of the time.
• Must have convenient access to a major airport.
• Strong preference for candidates located in one of AIR's key markets: Denver, DC Metro, Miami Metro, Boston area, or Philadelphia area.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Multifamily Service Operations Management.
• At least 2 years of experience in a direct Service Management capacity.
• Proven success in managing large properties.
• Ability to inspire, communicate effectively, and engage in hands-on management.
• Strong skills in team-building, coaching, and training.
• Experience in supervising multiple sites.
• Excellent background in customer service.
• Strong focus on financial results.
• Proven ability to enhance value at the community level.
