Travel Consultant II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Search for and confirm travel arrangements for clients.

• Advise customers in accordance with their travel policies.

• Address requests related to DOT, TSA, passports, visas, and other essential regulations.

• Provide insights on industry matters such as low fares, exchange fees, and penalties.

• Evaluate operational processes and client relationships, recommending enhancements.

• Maintain, share, and broaden knowledge of the supported travel sectors.

• Communicate effectively with both current and prospective clients to respond to inquiries.

• Assist clients in traveling efficiently and achieving their goals.

• Report directly to Brian Nerandzic.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience as a travel agent.

• Proficiency in GDS Sabre.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities in English.

• Comprehensive understanding of the travel industry, including policies, procedures, and processes.

• Experience with Life Sciences, pharmaceutical, or corporate travel accounts.

• Familiarity with online booking tools like Concur Travel.

• Expertise in managing VIP, executive, and intricate travel arrangements.

• Knowledge of airline contracts, negotiated hotel programs, and adherence to travel policies.

• Capability to address requests regarding DOT, TSA, passports, visas, and other vital regulations.
