Travel Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Assess clients' travel needs and recommend itineraries based on optimal routes and pricing.

• Create and confirm bookings utilizing Global Distribution Systems (GDS).

• Inform clients about travel dates, baggage restrictions, special requests such as meals and wheelchair accessibility, visa requirements, and other pertinent details.

• Analyze fare regulations and communicate rules and conditions to clients.

• Process payments and provide clients with receipts, necessary documentation, and travel tickets.

• Promptly inform clients of any schedule changes.

• Adhere to internal procedures using CRM and mid-office software.

• Conduct follow-ups and persuade clients effectively.

• Maintain a professional and positive demeanor while engaging with clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of two years of experience as a Travel Consultant is required.

• Proficiency in English is mandatory.

• Expertise in GDS is essential.

• Must be computer literate, with knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Docs.

• Familiarity with any CRM system is necessary.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills are required.

• A willingness and capacity to learn is essential.
