Travel Consultant – Amadeus Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide expert travel advice and make arrangements for corporate clients, catering to both individuals and groups.

• Perform detailed analysis and research on travel alternatives while proactively identifying traveler needs to promote additional services.

• Organize and book domestic and international business travel, handling varying levels of complexity for air, road, rail, and accommodations.

• Utilize various Global Distribution Systems, specifically Amadeus.

• Ensure adherence to the agreed travel policy of clients, service provider policies, and regulatory standards.

• Employ positive telephone service techniques and respond to special customer requests.

• Collaborate with your team to coach, mentor, and deliver constructive feedback aimed at enhancing service levels.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in corporate travel.

• Knowledge of fares and ticketing, including complex fare structures.

• A strong commitment to excellence in client service, with a focus on proactively anticipating client needs.

• Proficiency in Global Distribution Systems, specifically Amadeus.

• Excellent professional communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Uphold integrity while managing personal traveler information.

• Comprehensive understanding of the travel industry, with a background in business travel, leisure travel, or airline reservations.

• Ability to resolve customer issues swiftly and independently or in collaboration with suppliers.

• Ability to work effectively in a team and remain open to feedback.

• Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends.
