
Transportation Safety Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
β’ This position offers the flexibility of remote work, requiring travel to clients 50-75% of the time for conducting safety inspections at worksites and facilities across Southern New Hampshire, Central and Eastern Massachusetts, and Northern Rhode Island.
β’ The candidate must possess the ability to identify workplace hazards and provide recommendations for compliance.
β’ Additionally, the candidate is expected to develop safety programs and assist with their implementation.
β’ Conduct safety training sessions for client employees as necessary.
β’ Create safety manuals, including site-specific manuals when needed.
β’ Engage in discussions regarding safety protocols with general contractors as required.
β’ Collaborate with governmental agencies when mitigation efforts are necessary.
β’ A thorough understanding of OSHA 10 and 30/40 (including all subparts) is mandatory.
β’ The ideal candidate should be self-driven and proactive in recognizing issues and formulating recommended solutions.
β’ A high level of business acumen is essential, along with the capacity to communicate effectively with all management levels in a dynamic work environment.
β’ Must be able to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
β’ Willingness to travel 50-75% within New York State is required.
