This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +8 more states.
• Oversee the collection and regional interstate transportation assets, enhancing the scheduling of the FT portfolio and managing the EQT Commodities account. This role is responsible for executing nominations, conducting monthly closeouts, and managing tariff rates.
• Key responsibilities include optimizing capacity utilization, executing capacity releases, preventing curtailments, managing imbalances, handling accounting, facilitating customer communication, and ensuring compliance with contractual and federal requirements.
• The position requires the ability to troubleshoot daily and monthly challenges related to the Endur ETRM system.
• Evaluate pipeline operational postings, downstream needs, production limitations, and industry developments to guarantee that Commodities is fully leveraging EQT production, midstream, and downstream assets.
• Manage daily production variances by monitoring daily meter telemetry, addressing operational issues related to capacity, and adjusting daily nominations/trading positions based on changes in system requirements.
• This role must effectively communicate summaries of pertinent market conditions to higher management within EQT Commodities.
• A background in interstate/intrastate/midstream pipeline grids is essential for formulating organizational strategies within the region and across EQT Commodities.
• In-depth knowledge of the interstate pipeline grid and midstream operations is crucial.
• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in Transportation Services/Scheduling.
• Proficient computer skills, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and logical testing abilities are necessary.
• Given the daily scheduling of nominations, this role requires availability for some evening/weekend work and participation in an on-call rotation.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in Transportation Services/Scheduling is required.
• Experience in nominating/scheduling for Texas Eastern, Eastern Gas Transmission, and gathering/midstream assets is preferred.
• 1-2 years of SCADA experience is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Endur is strongly preferred.
