Transmission Line Engineer – Mid, Senior, Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.

📋 Description

• Design and engineer both overhead and underground systems utilizing PLS-CADD, ensuring adherence to NESC, ASCE, and ACI standards.

• Transition projects from initial routing and engineering analysis to material procurement and construction-ready documentation.

• Employ advanced modeling tools (PLS-TOWER, LPILE, FAD) to address site-specific challenges effectively.

• Guide junior engineers, manage client relationships, and lead multi-disciplinary teams to achieve successful project outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering along with relevant experience in the design of electric utility transmission systems.

• Expert or working knowledge of PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE software.

• Familiarity with NESC, ACI, AISC, and ASCE standards.

• Capability to convert complex engineering concepts into clear project scopes and client presentations.

• Mid-Level: 2+ years of experience, EIT preferred, with a focus on teamwork, design, and analysis.

• Senior-Level: 4+ years of experience, PE preferred, with supervisory responsibilities, full review, and quality control.

• Lead-Level: 8+ years of experience, PE license required, with strategic oversight, mentorship, budgeting, proposals, and strategy.
