This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Acts as the representative of the organization to both internal and external customers, vendors, state and regional government entities, and other organizations by delivering outstanding customer service and demonstrating effective communication skills, both in writing and verbally.
• Ensures that daily, weekly, and monthly internally defined criteria for successful new file welcome contacts, closings, fundings, and customer satisfaction ratings are consistently achieved.
• Collaborates as a team with sales, transaction assistants, underwriting, closing, funding, and management to guarantee that assigned loans are processed promptly, with meticulous attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to corporate policies, as well as all state and federal laws.
• Identifies solutions to complex scenarios or loan conditions, showcasing the ability to devise creative and acceptable solutions for loan restructuring while clearly explaining underwriting conditions to both borrowers and loan originators.
• Addresses, resolves, and responds to any consumer issues related to the processing of the loan and the consumer experience concerning underwriting approval and associated requirements, all while maintaining exceptional customer service.
• Guarantees outstanding customer service by upholding a comprehensive understanding of lending programs, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, along with a commitment to professional ethics.
• Accurately and promptly processes documents to ensure compliance with proper audit procedures.
• Fosters effective professional relationships with all colleagues.
• Provides assistance to Transaction Assistants with inquiries regarding third-party documentation requirements and general mortgage and processing concepts.
• A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
• Experience in multi-state processing is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
• Familiarity with mortgage-related software and the ability to quickly learn and understand proprietary software such as Octane.
• Strong understanding of TRID, RESPA, FHLMC, FNMA, FHA, and VA program guidelines.
• Knowledge of the mortgage process and associated documents.
• Ability to adapt effectively to change.
• Exceptional computer skills.
• Capable of managing multiple directions and planning efficiently; must thrive in a fast-paced environment.
