Transaction Antifraud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Implement antifraud mechanisms within an automated platform, necessitating robust technical expertise and proficiency in custom scripting and intricate logic.

• Engage in the strategizing and execution of automated testing procedures.

• Design and enhance APIs and system integrations, particularly those associated with fraud detection and risk assessment.

• Develop new functionalities and refine operational workflows.

• Establish and oversee integrations with both internal teams (such as AML and Core Banking) and external service providers.

• Ensure the maintenance of clear and well-organized documentation.

• Create new microservices and enhance the logic and architecture of existing services.

• Take comprehensive ownership of tasks, from gathering business requirements to deploying in production.

• Work closely with fraud, operations, and compliance teams to ensure collaborative efforts.

• Define and manage tasks utilizing tools like Jira and Confluence.

• Supervise the release lifecycle to guarantee high-quality output.

• Monitor service performance post-release and handle incidents in the production environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a System Analyst, System Engineer, or Software Developer within the fintech or banking sector.

• Proficiency in code development or familiarity with low-code platforms and automation tools.

• Solid understanding of microservice architecture and system integration methodologies.

• Strong capabilities in API design and integration from the ground up.

• Excellent SQL skills for data analysis and validation purposes.

• Experience in production support, incident investigation, and resolution processes.

• Familiarity with GitLab and GitOps practices.

• Proficient in English at a B2 level or higher, enabling effective written and verbal communication.
