This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Organize and schedule training sessions.
• Develop, monitor, and oversee the registration platform.
• Track and report attendance.
• Provide administrative support on-site during training events.
• Ensure all training initiatives adhere to the Texas Occupations Code, TCOLE regulations, and Texas Administrative Code stipulations.
• Supervise TCOLE guidelines to guarantee prompt implementation within HTI.
• Act as a subject-matter expert on TCOLE standards.
• Collaborate with the State Director to assign instructors.
• Confirm instructor qualifications, licenses, and eligibility for the courses they are assigned to teach.
• Uphold attendance standards, testing and evaluation integrity, and documentation requirements.
• Maintain comprehensive training records.
• Design and distribute training flyers to partner organizations.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a TCOLE Training Coordinator or in a training department within a Texas law enforcement agency.
• Preferred experience in assisting an agency to achieve TCOLE Training Provider status.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint are preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Proficient in Canva is preferred.
• Holds a TCOLE Basic Instructor Certificate or has the capability to obtain one.
