Training Compliance Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Execute 1st Line of Defence Assurance (1LoDA) activities in accordance with JSP 822 and guidance from the Training Compliance and Safety Manager, Training Requirements Authority (TRA), and Training Delivery Authority (TDA)

• Create formal training assurance reports that highlight findings, risks, and opportunities for enhancement

• Monitor, document, and oversee assurance actions

• Collect, analyze, and present findings from Internal Validation (InVal)

• Recognize trends and advocate for continuous improvement initiatives

• Foster positive relationships with stakeholders throughout the organization

• Represent the Training Compliance and Safety Manager in meetings when necessary

• Ensure adherence to relevant legislation, policies, regulations, and guidelines

• Perform assurance activities at training establishments, fire stations, and subcontracted training sites

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in Training Assurance and DSAT

• Background in conducting and/or assuring the DSAT process

• Excellent communication skills with stakeholders

• A valid full UK driver’s license is required

• Ability to obtain SC clearance

• DCTS Training Audit or ISO 9001 qualification would be beneficial

• Defence Trainer qualification or equivalent is preferred
