Trade & Export Compliance Program Lead

📋 Description

• Lead the comprehensive trade compliance program for Hydra Host.

• Convert intricate U.S. regulations into effective operational processes.

• Develop and consistently enhance Hydra Host's trade compliance framework.

• Act as the company's expert on Advanced Computing export regulations.

• Prepare, submit, and oversee BIS and OFAC license applications.

• Manage and continually refine the restricted-party screening system.

• Implement military end-use and end-user controls in accordance with EAR Part 744.

• Guarantee the timely submission of all necessary regulatory reports.

• Create and present export compliance training for relevant teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of direct experience in trade compliance program management.

• Extensive knowledge of the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and OFAC sanctions.

• Demonstrated expertise in managing Advanced Computing export controls.

• Experience in drafting and overseeing export license applications and advisory opinions with BIS and/or OFAC.

• Proven capability to identify, implement, and oversee license exceptions.

• Background in building, deploying, or managing automated restricted-party screening solutions.

• Strong understanding of military end-use and end-user restrictions under EAR Part 744.

• Practical experience with KYC due diligence processes.

• Proficient knowledge of OFAC sanctions programs.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
