This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Provide Compliance expertise to the Risk and Compliance and Money Transmission Licensing function.
• Responsible for evaluating, managing, and enhancing the daily compliance advisory operations for the North American OFX entities (US and Canada).
• Concentrate on coordinating money transmission licensing in relation to key individual and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Collaborate closely with senior members of the North American Licensing and Compliance function and executive leaders across Legal, Data, and Finance departments.
• Ensure adherence to Money Transmission Licensure reporting obligations, call reporting, key individual notifications, and significant events.
• Offer timely and comprehensive advice and guidance to the business and stakeholders on inquiries and complex issues.
• Identify and advance opportunities for control and process enhancements.
• Assist the NA Licensing Manager, NA Senior Compliance Officer, and Head of NA Compliance in compliance with new regulations regarding money transmission, consumer protections, and derivatives.
• Over 3 years of experience in a similar role within Risk and Compliance, or Auditing, preferably in financial services, Legal, and/or data analytics.
• Familiarity with current Money Transmission licensing and broader financial services obligations and frameworks in the NA region.
• Strong capability to extract, analyze, and derive insights from data, along with experience in data visualization/management reporting.
• Skilled in operating within a global collaborative environment with a flexible schedule.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and resources while keeping business objectives as the primary focus of decision-making.
• Excellent stakeholder management and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Capacity to maintain high accuracy standards and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
