This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.
• Assist in the implementation and management of the company's import trade compliance program.
• Assess product classifications, determine country of origin, and evaluate tariff applicability.
• Supervise entry reviews, provide audit support, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Validate import transactions, track compliance data, and recognize opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate closely with Customs Brokers, internal business teams, and Trade Compliance leadership.
• Oversee trade programs, manage post-entry activities, reporting, and ensure data integrity.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in import trade compliance, customs operations, or trade compliance analysis.
• Demonstrated expertise in HTS, COO determinations, trade remedy programs, and post-entry processes.
• Comprehensive understanding of U.S. Customs regulations, tariffs, valuation, broker entry procedures, and audits.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel; proficiency in Microsoft Office is also essential.
• Familiarity with QAD and/or SAP is preferred but not mandatory.
• Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) or trade compliance certifications (CCS, CES, CTCS) are preferred but not required.
