Tour Leader – CEO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Consistently provide exceptional customer service and ensure traveller satisfaction.

• Offer guidance to our travellers and take responsibility for their well-being.

• Continuously expand your knowledge about the country being visited, including its culture, religion, current events, environment, and more.

• Possess in-depth knowledge of accommodations, attractions, dining, transportation, souvenirs, pricing, and other relevant details.

• Keep a valid passport and visa, ensuring vaccinations and preventive medications remain current.

• Serve as the daily guide, interpreter, and group manager.

• Address traveller issues and concerns directly, ensuring high levels of passenger satisfaction.

• Adhere closely to the established travel itinerary, making alterations only when absolutely necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Passion for Adventure Travel: Prior experience living, travelling, studying, or working abroad is a crucial requirement for this role.

• Eligibility to work legally in Colombia.

• Possession of a Tour Guide License.

• Language Proficiency: All G Adventures tours are conducted in English, so strong command of the English language is essential. Knowledge of the region-specific language is also highly valued.

• Outstanding Leadership and Communication Skills: Experience in leadership positions, demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively in diverse contexts.

• Resourcefulness: A level-headed individual who can remain composed under unpredictable and stressful situations.

• Commitment to Sustainable Tourism: Dedicated to environmentally and culturally responsible travel practices.

• Good Health and High Energy: Capability to manage the daily challenges of long and demanding days.

• First Aid/CPR Certification: Required before the start of a contract to ensure readiness for emergencies.

• Background in basic accounting/budgeting: Experience with budgets or personal finance management is advantageous.

• Computer Proficiency: Essential knowledge of the Internet, E-mail, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
